Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of VolaLog (“the Service”), operated by Giordano Corradini (“we”, “us”, “our”), trading as VolaLog. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

VolaLog is a pilot logbook application that allows pilots and flight simulator enthusiasts to record, manage, and analyse their flight history. The Service is provided as-is and is intended for personal record-keeping purposes only.

VolaLog flight records do not constitute an official logbook for regulatory or licensing purposes unless you verify their accuracy and compliance with the applicable aviation authority in your jurisdiction.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate information when registering. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Free Tier and Paid Subscriptions

Free tier — You may use the Service free of charge, subject to the following limitation: a maximum of 25 flights logged within any rolling 12-month period. Historic data imports are unlimited on the free tier. Fleet management is unlimited on all tiers.

Paid subscription — A paid annual subscription removes the flight logging limit. Subscriptions are billed annually through Paddle, our payment processor, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions.

Pricing — Current pricing is displayed on the VolaLog website at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to change prices for new subscriptions with reasonable notice.

Grandfathered pricing — Users who subscribed at a launch promotional price retain that price for as long as their subscription remains active and uninterrupted.

4. Billing and Renewals

Subscriptions are billed annually and renew automatically unless cancelled. You will be notified before your renewal date.

All payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), who acts as the Merchant of Record. Your payment details are held by Paddle and are not accessible to us. Paddle's own terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or through Paddle's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until that date.

5. Refunds

We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. To request a refund, contact us at privacy@volalog.app with your order details.

After 14 days, no refunds are issued for the remainder of the subscription period.

Refunds are processed by Paddle as the Merchant of Record and are returned to the original payment method.

6. Downgrade and Data Retention

When a paid subscription expires or is cancelled, your account reverts to the free tier. All your existing flight records remain visible and accessible — we will never delete or hide your data as a result of a plan change.

The 25-flight rolling cap applies to new entries logged after the downgrade date.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or reproduce any part of the Service without our written consent
  • Upload content that is false, misleading, or infringes the rights of others

8. Intellectual Property

The VolaLog name, logo, and all software, design, and content comprising the Service are our intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence to use our branding or reproduce any part of the Service.

Your flight data belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over content you upload or create within the Service.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.
